When we block entire countries, they just move to using VPNs... I know some of you _think_ you have legitimate reasons to use a VPN, but I implore you to revisit your assumptions. We may decide to forbid this awful traffic at some point. As with DOGE vs USAID, the people who would be crying the loudest about this are likely from a blocked country and shouldn't be here in the first place."

Reading between the lines it's obvious they plan to do this and have no intention of being argued out of it. The fact it will drive off their most technically literate and long time users doesn't matter at all to them.

Of course, I suspect they might be willing to let you connect from a VPN if you simply purchase a pro account.

An example of an alternate assumption to absolute truth:

- Loki created us 5 minutes ago, with implanted memories and made up physical history. And in the next 5 minutes, Loki will totally change the laws of physics, then alter our memories so that we can never know.

Assuming that Christianity's position (that the Truth is absolute) is true, is a very important assumption. Otherwise, there would be no point in the long term use of the scientific method, when the benefits aren't immediate.
