@judgedread @CN32 The first major nigger-related incident involving a local shopping mall in my lifetime, happened in August of 1987, at the Eastland Mall in Harper Woods, Michigan. Just on the other side of Detroit’s easternmost border. There was a sporting goods store in the mall called Herman’s, which had made the idiotic decision to do some kind of outreach hiring program for niggers, which ended in disaster when the niggers they hired were stealing large amounts of stock items (mainly basketball shoes, big surprise) and were subsequently fired and the program terminated. The fired niggers then set up a picket line at the entrance to the store, inside the mall, and started verbally and physically harassing anyone who tried to enter the store. After a big altercation between customers and the picketing niggers, the local police came into the mall in force and physically removed the picketing niggers to the applause of all the onlookers. I was there that day and remember it clearly as the moment that mall began a slow decline.
The Christmas season 1999 was the first year that I can remember e-commerce being a big thing. And I do recall there being news stories about how that was the first year that more people did their Christmas shopping online than in traditional brick & mortar outlets. So yeah, the writing was on the wall as far back as the mid-80’s, and and the coroner was basically at the scene by the late 90’s.
