@judgedread The AI race has produced impressive results already, as @WaifuPoaster88 demonstrates regularly. There are a lot of bad and sloppy uses and misuses of existing AI, but there are many tasks to which it is already well suited, limitless anime girl generation being just one.

Many of these tasks can be done on local hardware, I myself have been brewing up a cute little toy I'm sure the poasters here will find useful.
