Elon made a bet that he can create a fab where you can eat a cheeseburger in the main manufacturing floor. His plan basically to entirely isolate the raw materials and chips at every stage of the manufacturing process in a positive pressure nitrogen atmosphere (presumably with exceptions for any stage where that's chemically problematic).

Called this one six days before the 9-0 ruling came down.

"Christians" think it is. What's most likely to trap us is not belief in the wrong doctrine or joining the wrong faction, it's having an improper understanding of *temporal power*.

Clearly we need to have a lot more temporal power in order to stop psychopaths from getting it and using it to harm others at scale. Using temporal power to explore and study the mysteries of the Universe is also itself a form of worship and one well suited to our particular nature. Thus, calls by "Christians" to renounce temporal power (especially technology) are obvious malware and should be ignored / mocked.

However, temporal power must always remain an *instrumental* goal rather than an end in itself: we want temporal power in order to protect good, fight evil, and seek truth. So long as temporal power remains a *tool we have* rather than *who we are* or an object of worship we'll be okay.

@judgedread What's so funny about this is that honest empiricists like us should be the easiest to convert: "Just show us the evidence." In practice what happens is that we eventually stumble upon the evidence ourselves. As usual, the proper approach of Christians who want to "convert" people like us is to get their own house in order: cultivate a reputation for never spreading meme malware, demonstrate effective resistance to the jews, etc. "By their fruits shall ye know them."

"Christians" who worry about the state of your soul have forgotten that the *inner nature* is what matters: dedication to truth, affinity for goodness, and disgust for evil. Focus on these and the rest will sort itself out.
