From your political vantage view, this Iran War has hurt him politically, and helped the woketards politically. That's why people across the political spectrum are wondering why Trump would hurt himself this way.

From my military tech angle, the Iran War shows that the woketards might grab some imperial power back, but not for long. They will grab hold of an antiquated rusty sword, and that will not be enough to hold the empire forever.
