There's a guy I work with who insists on talking to me about all the little factoids he learns from gay, semi-leftist podcasts. The only unifying factors are that Americans are intrinsically bad, and any coherent system of belief exists only to enslave you. He can't put any two ideas together in his head — he calls reality a "quagmire". I don't even have to hide my power level from him; he's so boneheaded anything based I could say would just bounce off, having no effect, and generating nearly no notice.

I genuinely can't comprehend how it's possible to exist at that level, in that fashion. Do the mind and spirit not cry out for more?
