I named him but didn't link him for a reason. I don't think he's serious either. His genius in that debate lies in never wavering, no matter how perfect the evidence proves his position is monstrous.

I had a convo way back in college with a pretty female (in hindsight she may have been a jew) standing at the College Communist Party table, looking to talk to fellow young people about the merits of communism.

This wasn't the 60's. This story is within the past 20 years.

There was a lot of friendly back-and-forth, the foundation stuff, common-ground, obvious problems with as-is, then I just asked a random question that wasn't even vitriolic, just further "we agree on this, right" stuff.

Something maybe like all of the killing is wrong and the new government can't just kill people it disagrees with.

She looked away from me to the next person. I wasn't standing there anymore. No acknowledgement, no eye-contact, no difficulty hearing the other person speaking while I continued to talk. I just stopped existing. It was wild.

I was impressed with her self-control, there.

Most people cannot do what Jeff does. When called out, they either fall into blathering idiocy, or they shut down. Jeff sticks to his guns. It's impossible he could have this much engagement and have learned not one single thing regarding the facts of an event he's been getting schooled on every single day for 6 straight years. Every single day. For years.

I respect his game.
