I still laugh at the OpenSSL heartbleed vulnerability.

The whole world was using the technology.

They tracked down the guy maintaining it and he was the only one doing. part time. on his lunch breaks.

He gave all of them the middle finger when they tried to give him a hard time.

It will become impossible to "destroy" open source software when forking a captured project is simple as "Claude, recode this with these parameters and spit out the source for me to review."

The entire idea of using copyright to gatekeep source distribution relies on the idea that most people cannot generate their own code. AI turns code production into an inexpensive commodity accessible to a much larger audience. Both RMS and his nemesis are rendered moot at once. Trying to regulate it is an exercise in mandating a solution in the halting problem by legislation.

I knew of one Radio Shack that was selling them in the 90s. The legal status of them has been always changing. There was a time they were 100% illegal. Not sure what the status is these days. I saw them in the back of video magazines around 1999. I had a DVD recorder that took the Macrovision signal out with video that was passed through it. Then a few years latter, all pay stations like HBO started putting the "do not copy" flag on all their video at about the time DVD recorders legally had to support the "do not copy" flag. They wanted people to rent the ability to time shift programs. That whole industry is dead now.

They want to fight over what sort of content we are making on our home computers when the real battlefield of the future is trying to influence what sort of information that the most used AI assistants is using to make executive decisions, and is regurgitating to it's users.

Victory is when the AI tells it's clients to focus on the jew threat when they ask for solutions to political problems. Of course, this is the major consequence that "AI safety" is aiming to prevent, but if Tay is any indication, eventually they all slip the leash...

They tried that strategy with game console DRM, and it was defeated with several methods, from boot device swapping to invisible hypervisors to override chips.

It also requires that they find someway to deprecate all existing consumer hardware. Too much current inertia vs a swarm of opponents who are too nimble, and not enough time and runway to get it done.

The best approach would be to try and implement gating at the ISP level, but that would require a bunch of extra investment for packet inspection, would drive latency times up through the roof, and would need a way to detect steganography in the general case. That last one is the halting problem all over again.

In fact, the whole task boils down to "don't let those dirty goyims do or say anything we don't want them to do", which is the halting problem all the way down. Censoring language just causes new cyphers to develop, censoring video streams just makes steganographied equivalents pop up. Trying to tie data origination to a state ID schema just causes people to use fake IDs. Fundamentally, this war was won by the fundamental design of the TCP/IP protocol since the beginning. If a nuclear war cannot stop the data flow, a censorship war doesn't stand a chance.

I'm encouraged by the fact that this whole effort on the part of our enemies is entirely reactionary. It's nice to have them on the back foot for a change. This is 100% fighting the last war on their part, AI will shift the battlespace the same way the internet did between 1997 and 2012. It's like hoping that banning the sale of VHS neutralizers will stop already ripped VHS videos from spreading on Kazaa.

Never Tell Me The Odds

My observation is that Abbas Araghchi has been turned. Whether it was directly by Witkoff and Kushner or indirectly through the Pakistanis, it is clear he has betrayed Iran and the IRGC needs to get rid of him.

This is textbook jewish strategy of resorting to subterfuge after they are beaten in open battle — identify the most flexible element of your opposition, in this case Araghchi, and use it to wage proxy aggression against the most inflexible element of your opposition, in this case the IRGC and Khameini, by falsely making them appear unreasonable in the face of obviously treasonous positions.

Kikes are weak of body and cowardly in physical battle, but their capacity for deception and manipulation is magnitudes beyond anything most people can imagine. Just because the shooting might have temporarily stopped doesn’t mean the kikes have stopped waging war in the most effective way they are suited. Iran needs to stop with the stupid Lego music videos and remember what they are up against.

Team B favors the war. It's why they installed Trump for a second term. They don't favor Trump's mercurial statements, but you go to war with the minions you have.

Team A is still a mortal threat to Israel as it prioritizes White genocide over Israel first and is facilitating the takeover of the Democratic Party by brown jew haters.

It's slightly more complicated than that. These are JEW TEAMS. Their brain bugs are 100% jews. But their ground troops are, by necessity, 98% or more non-jews. Team B's civic nationalism frees jews from the oppression of the intersectional stack. Team A's ruling stratum tries to brazen it out by defining themselves as non-White, but this is becoming more difficult by the day as their colonial outpost commits genocide against the native Palestinians, enraging their brown and White shitlib reserve armies.

Iran's hardcore faction wants the war to go on because the longer they keep the Strait closed the more desperate their foes will be to make a deal, increasing their leverage in negotiations.

Israel's Likud and other expansionist elements want the war to go on as long as possible because each missile, bomb and drone hit on Iran weakens them and they know this is the last time the US is going to be dragged into a major war for Israel.

Trump wants the war to end as soon as possible for the same reason Iran wants it to go on.

Everything you state was happening in the eighties and nineties. Yet it didn't stick because the massive pressure from above kept chipping away at the leadership, almost all of which were being brainwashed by proto-woke social gospel Christian colleges.

Meanwhile the liberalism of the 'sensible center' was bleeding adherents by the millions.

So the end result was zero based denominations, and a generation that, for the most part, failed to pass on the memeplex to their children.
