@judgedread @DMA It's something I've seen others note too. Even 8 years ago leftists could make appeals to Christian morality ("Christ would want you to help brown people"), but that rotted away from over abuse and they were basically left with an appeal to authority ("Joe Biden demands you help brown people") but with authority shaky they're left with...strange sh!t.

I had some odd comeback on Twitter to one of my posts and I had to to stew it in my mind for a bit before I realized that the opposing poster was trying to call me a racist without mentioning race, Christianity, or any sort of loose cultural norm.

@DMA It's not that liberals want to be accepted by Christians, it's that they are starting to generate pro-Christian propaganda to revitalize the churches, having come to realize that their culture-system depended on Christianity for a critical memetic component.

Namely the command to help the weak, poor and broken.

Something the irreligious have no rational motive to do.
