Something I think is WAY under-appreciated is the fact that internet is *violently* redirecting the course of human history away from what was pretty obviously going to be running off a cliff.

In the 90s, we were doing all of the stupid shit we're doing now, but we were unaware of it. Now this internet thing comes along and all of the sudden BOOM, moment of clarity, now we're saying "oh shit, we're doing this and it's a terrible idea!"

But the moment of clarity means that we're already shifting away from that endgame, and what's far more likely at this point is the people who Get It are going to fast optimize and then conquer the ones that don't.

When the Moral Majority was rampaging through the land threatening blasphemers like myself with some kind of vaguely defined theocratic regime I eventually got past the bluster and noticed that each year - maybe even each week - Christianity was getting weaker and weaker. This despite endless proclamations of faith and only a few percent of people claiming loyalty to any other religion - or no religion.

The explanation is summed up by this rhetorical question: If your roof is leaking do you hire roofers or pray that it be healed?

@judgedread People that try to sell dispensationalism and repacked calvinism remind me of the old guys in smoke filled job shops that complain that young people don't seem to want to work.

Both stem from a form of price discovery, which in a technological society with a relatively free flow of information is nearly instantaneous.
@mjdigspigs @jb I was talking about AI sexbots with an internal incubator, to bypass women altogether. The context being that women were replacing men with .gov gibs and dildos, and AI was quickly approaching the moment when these desperate replaced-men would stop trying to find a woman to have a family with.
As someone who supported what Reagan was attempting I can tell you graded by the same standard Trump's second term is coming along nicely.

You have to set your expectations very, very low. US government was designed to be almost impossible to change quickly. It took 20 years for Reaganism to take over the GOP. We are now in year nine of Trumpism.
@jb Notice that the one massive attempt at rapid change discredited and destroyed most of those involved.

I refer, of course, to coronahoax.
SPLC discredited, AIPAC and ADL under attack by normie GOP hacks.

Things are looking up.

@Edit_XYZ Nope.

Why do you think Twitter banned anyone who used the NPC meme?

The core jew malware payload is that everything with a face is human.
@DC5FAN A doctrine of immutable inequality debunks liberalism even if it's race blind. The NPC meme includes the premise that they were born that way and can never upgrade to player status.
Kikes know if they are reclassified as 'not people' it's really over for them.

In this sense Alex Linder's thesis that Christianity is good for jews is correct as it clearly allows them to assimilate if they so desire.

A biological anti-semitism results in a more ruthless doctrine.

Thus all related notions - that niggers are a different species, that hominins are not equal, that race is real - must be taboo if jews are to survive.
@judgedread @Edit_XYZ This is accurate.

There is a YouTube video by a man who writes about technology and had Notebook LM I believe create its own a podcast about one of his books. It had two AI people, a man and a woman, discussing his ideas and controversies of the book as a dialogue, back and forth. He was astounded how good it was. Not just the superficial realism, but that it was convincingly getting at the real meat of his books.

There are demo podcasts out there of Notebook LM doing this.

What strikes me is, How is this different essentially from thought? It could generate a dialogue on any topic completely internally. It could generate millions of them and have them interact all internally.

How is this different in any essential way from thinking?

Because most people come nowhere near this level in terms of thinking. It never really has been necessary for survival. Not for most of us. Not for any other species before us.
@EvilSandmich Just one defector and leftist cancel culture collapses.

Thanks, Trump.
