@judgedread @bloggerski It's to where people who say, It's impossible that ..., or, It will never happen that ..., can be immediately discounted.

I understand their knee jerk reaction to believe those statements. These things have the potential to change everything about how we as humans are going to exist in this world. They are immensely threatening. But you can't discount anything 100% any more. It's just cope if you try.
