Outward difference between Raptor 2 and Raptor 3. Some of Raptor 3's regenerative cooling (for pre-burners, combustion chamber, and nozzle), is routed to the outside of the engine as well. This eliminates a lot of heat shielding that was needed around Raptor 2. It's also designed for quicker mass production. Raptor 3 also produces more thrust than Raptor 2 (280 tons/2,745 kilonewtons vs 230 tons/2,260 kilonewtons).

@judgedread I agree on that point, my argument relies on polygonal city fortifications being under the definition of "castle", which is clearly not what is meant by your argument.

However, I still believe my point that artillery did not stop the use of landed fortifications is not entirely off-base. An interesting bit is that once you got rid of tall, vertical, stone walls and replaced them with earthen slopes the presence of artillery works in favor of the defender, which is why the advent of the gun kicked off one of histories most notorious periods of siege warfare.

Star forts replacing castles caused sieges to scale up to the size of cities, making them bigger, longer, and nastier. Artillery also generally favors the side with the largest guns and the most numerous batteries, and guns on fixed fortifications did not need to be small enough to haul around by horse.

Sorry about sperging out, but the gunpowder transition and it's aftereffects is one of my favorite historical periods to study.

Apparently, the future time horizon for Team B kikes is just a year or so.

It never occurred to them that restoring USG military strength, and modernizing the USM for 21st Century warfare, will take a decade or two. Doing so would require that DEI 🐒 must be 100% exterminated, from every corner of US society.

That's just the minimum. I haven't even started on young men's motivation, that has been destroyed by feminism.

The talking points are simple:

This war is the most unpopular at its outset since scientific polling began.

Therefore there is no possibility of imposing a draft or sustaining a long campaign.

Therefore make a deal now before the Iranians draw more Islamic powers into their coalition and make a play for all the marbles.
