You can't fool me, I lived through the eighties when fundamentalists were absolutely sure that their much faster growth than liberal denominations meant that the future would be Christian. I used to point out that Facebook reported monthly active users because they were doing fine, while most other social media sites focused on how many accounts they had, never mind that most social media users register, log in a few times then never return.
