AI will be flawlessly writing entire new apps on your local machine to accomplish little tasks and there will be people arguing it's not real because 'qualia' or some such useless shit.

How do you explain the ever improving AI generated videos? No more weird seven fingered hands. It seems like it is getting better all the time, and at an ever faster pace. Meanwhile the coders who like AI claim it is improving for them.

If AI can generate impressive videos and some coders (not you) say it can do useful work I deduce that if it can accomplish something I can understand, and do so increasingly well, and people who work in a field that is entirely outside my area of expertise say it is not a scam and not a bubble then perhaps the AI bubble/scam touts are missing something, or engaging in motivated reasoning. I don't have any doge in the fight, other than finding Alpha Fold a promising development that might cure all disease. Which would be nice.
