If we weren’t anonymous, I would’ve of made an actual bet against you, and your fellow political pundits’ bets against space travel. If you pundits were 90% certain that Falcon 9 reusability would never amount to anything in 2023, with you people betting $100,000 against, and me betting $10,000 in favor (10 vs 1) in 2013… you people would be indebted with millions of dollars owed to me, including tons of interest payments to me (because most of you people don’t have $100,000 in cash to pay me immediately).

I maintain that Christianity is going to vanish from the West, becoming another condiment in the great culture salad bar, no better or worse than hinduism, scientology or esperanto.

There is a cosmic gulf between what young guys think Christian hegemony was like and what actually growing up in it was like.

Those were our Sundays growing up. I know exactly what that felt like. It was a form of hell. And all the churches were like that at the time. Today Protestant churches are either for therapy or entertainment. Still hell.
