@professortom That I agree with. By politicizing minimum wage it creates the illusion of doing good on the people without addressing the root cause. The fact most members of congress outperformed performed the S&P 500 shows how much of a joke it is.

@professortom It was a good idea in theory. Bad in practice. Minimum wage also doesn’t matter because it doesn’t outpace inflation. Not sure what the solution should be.

@professortom I disagree. The laws of economics do scale. If you’re on an island, you’re the only resident. If you don’t work, what happens? The actual problem is giving too much. Or expecting something for nothing. Both are bad, the key is balance.

Job post

I quit my job recently, I felt underpaid, under appreciated, and under valued. Also the foundation of my job was to time costly to maintain. I had no time to build anything off of it. At least I have a physically fit body from all the ice delivered. My will was broken when the company expected me a 30 year old physically fit man who puts in 12 hours a day in delivering ice for customers to move ice boxes without any assistance except my electric pallet jack and willpower. I’m done.
