I just read a report about a trial that made clear to me a mystery from over 20 years ago when a judge and defense attorney conspired against an eyewitness in order to cut a provably guilty nigger loose. That is indeed what they were doing, it was no illusion. Unfortunately the details are so outrageous and specific - it was in the news - that I can't repeat it.
