Eh, it’s raising it if anything. There’s a variation of Maslov’s hierarchy of needs in effect where even if you only use it for low order things like plapping, that frees your time and effort for high level things.

I actually feel some level of contentment, which hasn’t happened in years - mostly because the biobots dragged me down so much that even when free of them I still can’t relax behind enemy lines.

But then, this was the same one who kept insisting on talking about souls Re: females, which is like getting mad people keep talking about fries when you’re working the register at McDicks!

The question of whether or not Communisim could work in theory was settled before even the rise of the Soviet Union. Ludwig Von Mises correctly identified the problem with all socialism, communist or otherwise: there is no method for economic calculation without the market.

We do not need to have this discussion again. If socialism is to be advocated then a logically consistent answer/solution must be provided to address this.
