@casuist I struggle to imagine why anyone thought that killing an Ayatollah would cause the Iranian government to collapse. Like, even the most cursory, surface level, ten-minutes-on-wikipedia understanding of Iran's political system would be enough to realize that that wouldn't happen. I guess the competency rot in the US government really is that deep now.

Israel's open, televised genocide followed by the obvious targeted murder of over 100 elementary school girls stacked on top of everything else. It's not just a failure, this is unforgivable behavior in the eyes of almost everyone else on the planet. It's pure evil. I'm sure Lindsey Graham needs clean underpants but it won't save any of them from the reality of what they've done.

At this point I can't even understand why this war is even happening. There is no win condition for Israel after what they've done and now the U.S., specifically the Republican party also owns an equal share of those sins.

It's bad, it's really bad for them. Even if they destroy Iran, then what? How do you pick up the pieces? Their reputations are shattered, the illusion that they're the eternal victim has been inverted by their own actions. We already know the admin was desperate for a way to sell this war to the American people, couldn't, and then went ahead and did it anyway.

What the fuck. They have to have Trump on video fucking a child and even then Israel's behavior is reckless and almost desperate looking.
