@Tfmonkey Had a moment where I felt like I was able to fish for myself with the "Inflation Reduction Act." After hearing the details of the bill being more spending for climate change bs and things, I knew it would not do jack all to reduce inflation. The only detail of the bill that even attempted to deal with the actual inflation issue was the tax increases, which A) would not even be guaranteed to meet the projected revenue, given how increasing taxes changes incentives for how people earn and use their money and B) would just mean that any taxes would eventually just be passed on to the customers.

And you said all the same things that I was thinking on your show. So I figured I must be on the right track, since you do know your stuff when it comes to economics. I did not quite get to the point of the fact that passing on the costs to customers will just have the exact same outcome as general inflation, but now I see that. Of course, when those costs are passed on, the Democrats will just blame the businesses for the increased costs rather than the taxes they are responsible for.
