Personally, I do not believe masturbation is an outright evil coming from what my medical understanding is about it. You could have an excess of testosterone that causes spontaneous stimulation. Happens quite often for pubescent teens. Release is necessary.
However, the danger is frequency and developing a dependency on the dopamine ride that follows this release. The danger in particular is overtime, frequent masturbation will actually be detrimental to a male's overall development when it comes to courting women. You end up becoming yet another "nice guy" that no self-respecting woman wants to date. Psychologically you will suffer from this dependency because while you're getting the dopamine, you're not getting the serotonin from legitimate human interaction for your sex drive. This leads to depression and frustration.
Observe what is happening around you.
