Still browsing this for anything interesting. Here they’re complaining that the media constantly pushed bald black women when that’s not the case (supposedly) because they can “achieve long lustrous hair”
@WashedOutGundamPilot black women absolutely go bald unless they're mixed and can go non-curly hair. What happens is black women get "weave" which is asian hair, sewn into your TIGHTLY braided hair, and eventually the stress and weight of the weave (along with the lack of cleaning) causes the hair to fall out.
You can see in the picture below how black women tightly braid their hair in order to sew weave into it. This is VERY expensive BTW, but it's worth it to them even if they're poor af.
