As a Christian I cannot disagree with his assessment either, Chivalry was effectively an unacknowledged heresy of Western Christianity that has poisoning us for almost 1000 years.
Chivalry started in 12th century France, so it never got to poison Eastern Orthodoxy or the Nestorians.
Classic example of how schisms and heresies beget more schisms and heresies.
@UncleIroh I think we can still see it nowadays when comparing orthodox Christianity with Catholicism.
