Sounds like a great campaign to stop people from using Oracle Java and instead switch to one of the many open JDKs available.

Porting and tooling issues aside, there are probably enough enterprise products using OpenJDK - RedHat, IBM MQ, Apache Tomcat, AWS services (some), Temurin - that it practically guarantees this move will backfire spectactularly.

This is on par with the US weaponizing the dollar, and in the same way you get to do this once.
