GPL is going to fragment FOSS projects in significant ways as ZOG's empire wanes. Linux Foundation just banned loads of Russians and now parts of the Linux kernel have ZERO maintainers. Shit rolls downhill, so expect every distro's quality to be impacted moving forward.

As others have mentioned, I suspect Linus and the LF is now operating under a National Security Letter. That should be anyone's default assumption.
