:soy: "C build systems suck"

:gigachad4: "I love build.sh, it literally does everything I want!"
Probably my favorite thing about you is that you are a C programmer.
C is essentially the simplest programming language to learn. You only have to be somewhat intelligent to work in it.
@Volkish_Observer @theorytoe @tyler Well, to get something to compile.

You need to be rather intelligent once segfaults related to pointer misdirection or array overruns start to get involved.
just saying if you want a big project it's different but c, pascal, basic is all simple sheeit meant to be mastered by somewhat intelligent individuals.
@Volkish_Observer @theorytoe @tyler Any higher level language than C exists because jeets are not intelligent enough to code without a memory manager and enforced var type safety.

The language itself is very simple, but that means there is also very little hand holding once things get complex.
@brokenshakles @theorytoe @Volkish_Observer @tyler there's plenty of use cases for high level languages, it's about knowing what tool to use for the job. spending hours reinventing the wheel in C vs spending 3 minutes writing half a dozen lines of python in order to save 12kB of memory is sillymaxxing. but so is using python for a server that's expected to scale to handle thousands of clients and a billion record database.
Nigga so many HUGE scale industries use fastapi on python to serve millions of clients at once
The "industry" will lmao at python so-called programmers tyler. Get real. It's not a real skill ok no matter what your yt gurus tell ya, ok?
