Instead of reacting to ragebait slop, try seeing what Trump needs to accomplish in raw terms.
It is a game of trade figures between US, Europe and China:
* Europe does +200B dollars with US, and -200B with China, net= 0
* US does -300B to China, -200B to Europe, net = -500B
* China does +200B with Europe, +300B with US, net = +$500B
These are the the cold hard monetary facts about the current global trade balance that Trump sees and is seeking to rebalance in the US's favor

Just on these terms alone, this is why Trump needs to ditch Project Ukraine, make some kind of amends with Russia and re-focus on Project China.
If during this time, Europe insists on still acting like a bunch of crying babies, the EU Project will be dead inside of 4 years, and that prediction comes from the EU itself.
Geopolitically Trump = money 1st while Europe = ideology 1st.
Guess which approach wins?
