i am thinking that all these projects that are moving to rust now will be faced with lack of devs in the future and will be abandoned and die because no one will maintain them or rewrite them back to c. i might be wrong but i think the truth will be somewhere in between.

I think it will last the distance.
It's taking more territory in the linux kernel with every release, and Microsoft has started integrating it into it's kernel too.
Adoption has exploded and that can be bad when the backlash comes. The community is also insufferably woke, gay and retarded.
On the other hand it's being taken seriously by infrastructure giants like Amazon, Mozilla and Microsoft.
