I feel like the skin shade on the guy holding the gun is similar to the skin shade of the person the gun is pointed at. I do not know why that would matter but I feel like it might be an important detail for some reason.
Also the coats hung from the closet remind me of Orthodox Jewish strings that they hang down their clothes for religious reasons
