Is it one of those famous Churches that are in fiction which is partly based on reality and partly a misrepresentation

@shortstories Not sure what you mean here, and if you're talking about SSPX being a schism, that's a debate that hasn't won me over through theological debacle but by actions.

The churches of SSPX remained opened during Covid. Churches outside the traditional rites bent the knee to progressivism.

@Wopu

Brother Peter Diamond of Vatican Catholic dot com also known as Most Holy Family Monastery proved Pope Francis and Pope John Paul 2 were anti-popes

Most Holy Family Monastery is wrong in his ultramontanist claim that the Pope is infallible however

There exist Old Catholic Ultrajectine Churches that reject Papal infallibility

Papal Infallibility is a new teaching starting with Vatican 1 close to 1870

@Wopu

Gabriel Knight 3 is a educational game that provides conspiracy theories about the Royal Family related to some place in France similar to Dan Brown Divinci code stuff

A lot of it's material is fun but it is historically inaccurate about many things and blasphemous if you claim it is real

It takes place in somewhere in France with a Church and a place where people make wine

@Wopu

I am wondering if that Church you mentioned is famous like the Churches so famous people include them in fiction books, movies or video games

@shortstories Truth be told, I don't know.

I freshly got into Catholicism a few weeks ago, and am still not through my catechism lessons nor baptized.

Baby steps.

@Wopu

I read through the Catechism of the Catholic Church up to the point where they said there is "no new public revelation"

At that point I realized it was a fraud even though prior to that I was seriously considering it might be true

Basicly they openly admit the Pope and Ecumenical councils have no special revelation from God to give you that you can not find out yourself without them making the whole apparatus unnecessary

They are bossing people around with no revelation from God

@Wopu

If you want to do tge rituals or learn about moral debates through Church history by studying Catholicidm or attending mass then I have no problem with thst

But the hierchical system with the claim of the right of the Pope and Ecumenical Councils to determind truth and morality and boss you around is a fraud

@Wopu

I made a lot of typos I hope you figure out what I meant
