@Chimi_Chuang_Tzu @37712-We've been keeping chickens for about 8 years now... and it's the slow season for egg-laying. Our birds have been molting (shedding feathers), and egg production is always down about now.

The poor birds shed their feathers in the dead of winter - always seemed a little unfair to me. So I looked it up, and found that they're native to southeast Asia. I'm thinking if they were there, they'd be perfectly in tune with the seasons. But sadly, they are here, so they're not. 😕
