It could be a matter of definition though. When I think of "beating", I think of closed fists delivered with bad intentions.
Spankings, slaps, physical coercion (grabbing her arm and dragging her)... that's just discipline and guidance.
I think of women like dogs. I generally don't beat dogs. But I will swat them for disciplinary purposes. 🍻
