@dander - I remember back when the history channel was more watchable, there was a documentary on "Hitler's breeding camps" or some such... 🤔
And it was held up as a great crime against humanity, that girls as young as 15 were assigned husbands, and were bred by them. As far as I recall, the pairings were presented as monogamous and permanent.
Looking back, that's pretty tame. And what's more, the imposition of marriage (usually by natural circumstance in the absence of welfare), ➡️
