It's kinda genius that the "monopolies" you say that own the majority of properties are the ones that the government bailed out during the bank crisis;
properties that people are selling because they got ass fucked by the rent moratorium during covid plus the tax hike from both the inflation reduction act and from white flight that shrank the tax base.
