@Amalek_Respector @Zeb the nucleus contains all the DNA. This means you can use an animal egg, replace the nucleus with a skin cell, and replicate a human egg. The essential point is that women are no longer required
They still needed a donors egg, and the only thing they did was removed the nucleus from it, and replaced it with a skin cells nucleus, essentially they still needed the cellular architecture of the egg cell itself for the experiment to be somewhat successful. Also unless its replicated across multiple couples, accounting for different variables, its a far cry from being viable for virtually anyone not involved in this study.
They didn't produce one from scratch using a piece of your skin.
