I was listening to a StarDusk video essay the other day and one part really stuck out to me.
He started off pointing out that AI music doesn't need human "soul" as it's actually really good and humans don't care about how something gets done only the results. He later seqwayed into how those who claim they'd never be in a relationship with a robot are lying to themselves cause humans are just naturally inclined to emotionally bond with almost anything. Now consider a robot that looks, sounds and feels human, it's all but impossible for humans not to bond with a robo waifu. Anyone claiming they'd never choose a robo waifu "cause they'd always know she's not real" is just lying to themselves. Humans felt sad for a mars rover when it sent its last message and there was no AI in it so consider that little factoid.
