When the collapse hits, tech won't disappear nor will all government. The urban centers will decay and be consumed by hungry pajeets and niggers, the city centers will become open air gulag city states, the rural land will become micro states onto themselves. Travel will become more hazardous outside of trains or air. Nation states will still exist in places but the city state will be the norm once again. Technology won't advance as fast as it once did but it won't disappear and it will vary more from region to region. Some places will be fairly technologically stagnant while others will continue to advance. The oligarchs will build fully automated enclaves and others will have to scrape by with limited to no automation depending on where they reside. The internet as we know it will be for the high techs and elsewhere their will be subnets or no net at all. The world will look very different than it does now and the transition will be painful, very painful. Prepare for what's to come.
