Forget about your passion.
Passion is too nebulous of a goal anyway.
Self determination theory is where it's at.
Focus on:
Competence- Are you good at it?
Autonomy- Are you free to work the way you like?
Relatedness- There should be a mutual respect amongst the people you work with.

I wanted to keep it short because concepts like ikigai can be a bit complex for people trying to find out what they want to do.
@basedbagel while choosing a career, instead of using the word "passion" I would argue that the correct word is your own meaning & purpose in this world. That meaning & purpose also comes from love for the thing. I think this's where the Japanese concept of "Ikegai" comes in. You should check it out.
