It's a long story but I'll try to make it short:
I made funny/educational videos as a hobby for years .
I found out people pay for videos and decided to start my own LLC selling videos to local businesses.
I was making a decent money but what took me out was:
1. Economic downturn leading to rate cuts, lost clients and painful prospecting.
2. I didn't charge enough to hire help so I was burning out.
3. Realized i was working harder for a fraction of what I made on the job.

Also I thought that taxes were lower for business owners and boy was I wrong!
I plan on starting again next year but I miss it so much because:
1. I was able to work how I wanted and when I wanted with WHO I wanted.
No lousy, stupid coworkers that I can''t get rid of. It was all on me. It was glorious!
3. i didn't make much $ overall but I remember 1 day I made 2 weeks pay in a day and I cried tears of joy.
It wasn't perfect, doing (paperwork sucks 😒)but I still miss it
