Serious question: @rees Are you autistic?
I don't mean it in the pejorative zoomer connotation but the denotation.
I say this because while your points mostly make sense you're completely ignoring/refusing to address anything that isn't 100% logic based reminds me of an autistic friend I had.
@dicey just said he's sad about his dead dad and you didn't even pay lip-service to it which is strange.
Not to be an armchair psychologist but your posts made suspect it.
