The Americans are preparing to deliver the finishing blow to the German auto industry.
Washington demands that the management of the Volkswagen concern stop doing business in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. Allegedly, Uyghurs are being tortured there.
If the Germans refuse, then an insurmountable barrier will be placed before their advancement in the US market.

For VW, both markets are key. Refusal of one of them will entail a reduction in production and mass layoffs at the concern’s factories in Germany.

@Shlomo Because our finance real estate industry is the most cheapified overvalued boomer dogshit that's ever existed next to China. Nothing is authentic or build to last anymore.
I intend to build my house capable of withstanding an oak falling onto it rather than deforest in a 100ft radius around it like a fucking faggot.

@Largo @Shlomo The Japanese built their literal paper homes which no doubt saved lives from earthquakes that would bring stuff down on you. But in this case we're concerned about stuff coming through walls. And in case of Americans sometimes that stuff is bullets too.

Even with the relatively mild storms I've experienced there have been cases where a tree falls and kills someone inside of their car. Imo it's just better to live in a reasonably durable house rather than something that is cut through by anything like a hot knife through butter.
