@DC5FAN @freepatriot Where the hell are you guys getting these eggs?? I think costco has spoiled me
always offer one to a dog .. see if they eat it
i usually go to Braums .. or a tiny farm stand one town over
@DC5FAN @iwetoddid @freepatriot They're so overpriced I hate Krogers when I get stuck going there
see.. i found a diner in Oklahoma , that has whole meals for 8 bucks.. that isnt greedy
i will bet a hundred their stuff is all local grown .. doin it right
SE is fkn beautiful , too
creeks , rivers , lakes .. TREES
ive been around the very most NE.. i dont hate it , at all
@iwetoddid @freepatriot @DC5FAN Walmart food is so gross, I stopped going years ago after I got lunch meat that had clearly been dyed meat color
And that dye has some inflammation inducing chemicals in it. I always felt shitty after eating it.
@zeke @freepatriot @iwetoddid @DC5FAN Yeah very gross, like run down

I saw a video of a chick making her own lunch meat with this metal press thing, I want to try that now, homemade deli meat lol

I get mine from Aldi. They're still in the $3 range.
@James_Dixon @joancallamezzo123 @DC5FAN @freepatriot Our Aldi is over 4$ now, and the other stores over 5$. Roughly doube in the last couple of months. That's after a 2.5 -3x price increase during COVID.
@James_Dixon @DC5FAN @freepatriot I got some tonight at costco, they were around 3.19 a dozen but that's if you get the gigantic 5 dozen pack
An 18 pack of eggs is 11$ here right now and a 60 pack is 20$
Luckily I been having to buy less cause mine are laying
I think they jack up the prices at this time bc they know people with chickens aren't producing rn and yeh ppl need eggs
Hellz yeh :blob_cool: 3 of mine
Never thought of myself as a chicken person, til now
They make great pets 😃
@LudditeMan @KiKi88 @DC5FAN @freepatriot Our production is starting to kick up.
Out of 13 hens, we get 4 to 6 a day.
Many of them are too old to lay anymore, one pushing ten!
I know alot of folks will "put them in the pot" due to this but I could never bring myself to do it.
Prolly tough as nails anyhow..
Probably true. Two of mine just started laying again, so happy days are here again!
it is .. 3.79 here .. at a fancy-ish store
i would bet walmarche is higher
