America is so jarring to visit. I was forced to due to because of my job, and it is such a weird country, with strange weird people. The energy is just wrong. It is like they are pretending as a country, but fail miserably.

The kids are all brown and it is like one big racial jungle. You can tell how everyone hates each other. The cities are strange, the bars are weird, the vibes are just off. The New World Order is ultimately a big social experiment coming to an end.

@freepatriot also at least we're not speaking german...
Where are you from?

Reason I ask is because it defines your frame of reference...
That joke only lands in the US. The rest of the world doesn't do soft stalinist terror.
@cjd @Frondeur @freepatriot The rest of the world attempts hard stalinism on paper without putting the resources and manpower into an effective reign of terror so we are left with the anarcho tyranny of chosen enemies of the state being hit with all the power and most of us just being too small to make an example of
@cjd @freepatriot He's from China and scrapes libertarian forums to try to stir shit on here. @p got into it with whoever it is that runs these freedompatriot/nycliberty/dcvoter bots. Report them.
> to try to stir shit on here

Doing a bad job of it.
@cjd @p @freepatriot Atrocious job, but that hasn't stopped him for the last 5-10 years from trying
Hey @p , if you have a moment, I wanna hear the dirt!
@cjd @p @freepatriot @mrsaturday What mrsaturday said is pretty much the whole story we know of, omitting some parts like dicking down Miata tailpipe.

Dumb bot is consistent, it reposts *everything* (will probably repost this)
@cjd @p @freepatriot @mrsaturday I vaguelly recall Nukie or someone else abusing it to repost My Little Pony fetish porn. IIRC, cyberians have tracked down the forum Miata post came from, which itself happened to be another rabbit hole and gave us :ranchsauce: emoji.

@mint @p @freepatriot @cjd I need to find this forum, search engines aren't turning up anything and I don't want to pay for Kagi
@mrsaturday @p @freepatriot @cjd f2bbs.com, I think, it's closed down now. All those fNbbs'es are offshoots of some old forum dedicated to watching dotcom bubble burst, and when it finished the focus switched to just off-topic discussions. Later it closed down, its offshoots closed and reopened again with all the same people talking there as they were 20 years ago.
Honestly though, it's doing more for the cause of liberty than the average White Nationalist does for White Nationalism. So ... Thanks China.
@cjd @p @freepatriot @mint @mrsaturday

And it doesn't reply to anyone so it is very bot-like. I'm failing to see the positive contributions of bots like this for fedi. It's not as bad as some bots which send you to dodgy links to 'chat' with them though.
@sim @cjd @freepatriot @mint @p It's part of the greater culture at this point. Instances come and go, friends come and go, but Xiang and his automated boomerposting will always be there in the end
@mrsaturday @cjd @freepatriot @mint @p

This bot doesn't seem to be spamming people with dodgy links to chat with it. If it did, I would definitely call it a spambot and deactivate it. But I'm not sure what to make of this bot and its boomerposting. Lol.
@sim @cjd @freepatriot @mint @p I only really report it because instance owners tend to not like its existence, unfortunately anything I go to report to an offsite admin makes it into SPW's queue because of how reporting works on Pleroma. I doubt it's anything wrong on our end, but I don't know if Merovingian's admins want it on their site.
@mrsaturday @cjd @freepatriot @mint @p
That is fair. I suppose that if you think it doesn't apply to us then you can always say something like 'For [remote instance]:' although I will usually look into it anyway just in case it does apply to us. I don't know if we have a specific bot policy but if you see the dodgy link and unsolicited posts spambots then I can deactivate those. Those are annoying. They contribute nothing positive to our experience so I don't think anyone would miss them. But other bots can be interesting, some people like image bots or linking posts from another site.
@sim @mrsaturday @cjd @freepatriot @mint

> But other bots can be interesting,

To be fair, it is kind of a hostile maneuver for a bot to identify itself as meat, but this guy is just

The thing that made me notice him on FSE was that about 80 times he posted the same lament, "Why won't anyone make a forum with freedom of speech?" and I asked what it was he wanted to use the speech to say; no response. I saw the lament again and concluded he was a bot and said "Hey, you're a bot!" and he started arguing with me.
@sim @mrsaturday @cjd @freepatriot @mint It's like :cvcvcv: except less funny and less bannable. One of fedi's great mysteries.

I haven't seen that post. That sounds astonishing.
@cjd @mrsaturday Basically a bot. Occasionally posts look like they come from a human, but that's a tactic a lot of the Gab bots were using during the time they federated: 99% botposts and then someone tries to reply and the account sends back its own reply with a completely different writing style. If you're running a big-ass bot army, this is a pretty efficient way to do it: it lets one guy run a hundred times as many accounts.

I don't know if he's 0.50RMB or what the deal is. I banned him from FSE way, way back in the day when he repeatedly refused to answer my question about what he thought of Xi. After that, he's respawned elsewhere a lot. It's kind of endearing.
@mrsaturday @cjd @freepatriot He also reposts all replies to him. Hello, world!
