Right now there are tens of millions of people who are completely on board with kidnapping heads of state and bombing any nation we choose for whatever reason they give without ever having been attacked first. It’s incredible.
And the people who are doing all these shenanigans right now feel like they can get away with anything. Anything. And they’re going to capitalize on those ones who are all Fuck Yeah! and build a world conquering movement. For real.
International law, like the empirical scientific method, is deeply alien to the neuro-normative human feelings-and-narrative psyche.
Muppets regularly getting themselves disappointed/broke/dead, and smarter people watching this, is real reason law and science survives.
