If cash is banned, will digital coins have an expiration date?

Yup. Programmable, controllable, surveilable, etc. Driving a bit much? Now it doesn't work at the pump for several days. Spent $200 last month on grass fed meats? This month you're capped at $100 but you can get tons of the plant based, franken-meats. Feel free to extrapolate from there.

@MSP_SMIMSA @JohnYoungE @freepatriot Please! On the fediverse we say "make love to us" in order not to offend!

@MSP_SMIMSA @JohnYoungE @freepatriot Let met talk to him. I'm sure I can convince him to start to make love to everyone after a bit of Habermassian dialogue!

@freepatriot Yes! It is a tool for the government to control consumer spending in the economy. They can set digital expiration dates on your e-Coins, so that if you don't spend them, they expire.

You just wait and see.

@freepatriot they've already tried that in China so probably yes. No savings for you.
