Americans don't care if the USA is a police state, but Americans lose their minds if North Korea has tyranny.

Yeah this one I can relate to. For a lot of ppl irl, they look at me like I’ve got two heads whenever I tell them I’m honestly rather impressed with North Korea.

At least NK doesn't split hairs about having a controlled system, neither does Iran. In the US, two parties select who you get to choose amongst, and has made it easy for them to run candidates in each state (without gathering signature, etc like smaller parties), yet we're supposedly freer.
>supposedly freer
Which always begs the question "freer to do what?"
-Ride a train without being assaulted by negros? No.
-Have our kids go to public school and not worry some consoler will try to trans them? No.
-Work a job without concern that the government will replace you with the 'foreigner of the day'? No.
And so on.
There are a few carveouts that are nice, but that's what they are.

What’s funny to me is this dude always poasting things “Americans” think, that I honestly haven’t ever actually encountered, at least for 20-30 years. But this one 😂
