I was a high school dropout back in '81 when my mom signed for me to go into the army. I was 17 so a child soldier as they call them nowadays. Anyhow, there was a hangover from the Vietnam war so no one wanted to join; therefore, they'd take just about anybody. My scores were good, but I had to enlist for 3 years compared to the minimum of 2 years 'cause no diploma.
