Meaning for me, and goals, are subjective things, and hence something I invent and impose on myself.

What do you mean when you say that it cannot be done? I have done it myself, and am doing it constantly, so I think I misunderstand you here.

Let's also put aside the dystopic situation where goals are imposed on others through marketing and psyops. That can happen, but of course goes against the spirit of libertarianism, but that discussion,

As for the tragedy of the commons, the easy cure is to eliminate the commons, and the tragedy is eliminated as well.

There are many cases where private management of nature and resources, is vastly more effective at conserving nature or the resource, than public mgmt.

But yes... I do agree culture is important! So are common goals, or win/win situations _if_ you want to cooperate with others.

@monarchist @freepatriot Exactly!! And if you need to save at the beginning of your career, work as much as you like! And if, towards the end of your career, you want to take it easy, ramp down. You decide! And depending on your choice, you get paid more or less.
