@FreedomPatriot One can always help, from feeling hopeless. All one has to do, when living in a police state is to assume the role of a criminal. Living as a criminal doesn't necessarily mean committing crimes, it means knowing that one is under the ever present eye of tyranny.

Under such conditions, one learns evasion, preparation, concealment and temperament. Such a state can not last long with such men who will practice living as if they know, that they are perceived to be criminals. Or not, perhaps, despair and hopelessness are preferable.

Americans say everyone in jail should be executed, but what will you say when you get arrested for using hate speech, owning a stove, buying a gun, wearing a mask, or starting a business?

If you cannot have freedom and a balanced budget then why did the USA have freedom and a balanced budget in 1835?
