@Incal If limits are required, then the solution is bad from the start and must be discarded.

What will happen is that the limits will be discarded one after one, until the solution is back in its entire privacy invading glory.

Check ID, physical ID, in stores when people buy phones, and the problem is solved. Slap a fine on parents and others who sell phones to minors, just like with cigarettes and we have done what we can.

+++ Under the guise of child protection: EU plans digital identity enforcement +++

The European Commission has introduced an age verification app, supposedly to protect children online. However, criticism is mounting: this creates the technical foundation for far-reaching digital identity checks – well beyond its original purpose. Under the pretext of child protection, a system risks emerging that effectively forces users to disclose their identity in order to access online services.

Experience shows that what starts as “voluntary” quickly becomes the norm. Protecting children is fundamental, but must not be used as a pretext to undermine anonymous internet use. Clear limits are needed: no indirect real-name requirements, no gradual expansion of identification obligations, and no centralization of powers at the EU level. A free internet requires data protection, proportionality, and real choice – not infrastructure for control.

@carolen For anyone who doubts, look up Korab - the pink knight.

@carolen Yes! In fact, Korab is a very traditional name in Bournemouth and has been used there since the time of Arthur!

Fun fact!

Did you know the people in Montenegro are called Montenegroes (the negroes from the mountain)! 💡

@element @matrix Personally I'd recommend delta chat or irc. Horses for courses.

@elston_ I am a citizen of the world. Are you? ✝️ 🇮🇱 🇺🇦 🇺🇸

@elston_ No, but when you ask that very question, the suspicion of being a homo falls entirely on you. So please be mindful of your online brand, beause should people start to believe you are a homo, the consequenes be bad.

Oh, but Putin himself said it himself. In fact, he said 2 days in 2014.

You have been fooled by propaganda, and the first step for you to return to the light is to embrace Jesus into your life, and accept that you were wrong. After that, we can work together on rebuilding

@ChrisMayLA6 @H4Heights Regardless of what one thinks about taxing the strait, yes, it is definitely a card to be used during negotiations. I would do so myself.

@H4Heights @ChrisMayLA6 But you must keep in mind that israel is only defending itself. After all, their culture was almost eradicated in ww2, so they have every reason to attack anyone who threatens to bomb them out of existence, like iran has repeatedly done.

@ChrisMayLA6 The panama canal is an artificial canal, and as such it is possible to tax ships going through. The same goes for the suez canal.

So let's say Oman builds a new canal further away from Hormuz, inland, to get away from iranian rockets, then I'd say they would be allowed to tax ships.

For natural canals, international law forbids taxation.

As for a condition for peace, of course iran wants the world to hand them a golden goose on a plate. The world would be very foolish to do so.

@elston_ No, this is the truth. Russia, a country of 150 million has not been able to take ukraine for 5 years _despite_ having nukes and the enormously advanced weaponry you say.

The only thing they have is manpower, and that's it. The fact that they have not made progress proves they are not as strong as some think they are.

Soon their economy will tank, or alternatively, Putin will be killed, and then it is game over.

That's just a fact. Like the US, russia is a failing state.

@ChrisMayLA6 Tolls are a non-starter. That would mean, that every single country on the planet, who controls a stretch of sea, would have to impose tolls to counter the iran/oman tolls.

That would be economic suicide.

@freepatriot Who carries his passport around with him unless it is necessary? I don't know anyone who does.

@elston_ Zelensky should blow up the pipeline once and for all, or add a tax on all that passes that is about 200% of the value so that Ukraine benefits 2x of what russia benefits.

Russia must be crushed, swiftly, and then be humiliated like the germans after ww2, to stop russia from ever again starting a war.

@elston_ Amazing! It is of course obvious that the EU will collapse under its own weight, but I do pray that I will see the day myself.

Could this be the beginning of the end?

Hungary is fighting for our freedom, Bulgaria is now EU-skeptic as well.

Sadly, the EU will fight back hard with bribes to try and hold itself together.

Just see how wealthy Orban became taking EU money, and that is why hungary after all, remain. Too much money on the table for them.
